It's Cassie!

American singer, model and at the same time actress. She is best known for her single “Me & U”, which became a hit. Cassie was born in New London, Connecticut to a Filipino father and a mother of Mexican and Afro-West Indian descent. It was so easy for her parents to support her decision to model full-time, because she was raised in an “artsy” environment. She began as a model when she was fourteen, appearing in adds for Adidas, Abercrombie & Fitch and Seventeen. She was then spotted by producer Ryan Leslie, saying “he was charmed by her personality.” After a formal introduction with each other, hot and sexy Cassie became the focus of Next Selection. Recently, she has been working on her second album, which is due in February 2008. She will also have an appearance in the film Step Up 2 the Streets, which is also to be release on February 2008.
