Last February 12, Sophie's agent officially announced that Sophie and Benji have officially split up. The decision was mutual and they remain amicable, according to that agent. Almost a year to the day since Benji proposed then suddenly broke off his engagement.

Sophie Monk is an Australian singer, actress and occasional model. She's a former member of a female pop group Bardot which became successful. After a year, the group disbanded. Soon after Bardot's split, Sophie established a solo career. She also became well-known in Hollywood appearing in movies. Her debut feature role was in Date Movie where she played as the flirtatious and seductive “best man” Andy.
